The Role

Having recently secured a significant round of capital to scale the company, along with reference accounts in a growing number of countries, Inrupt is seeking a Senior Business Development Lead to help organizations and government agencies in the EU to understand and realize the potential of Solid for their citizens and customers.

  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and build a sales pipeline
  • Close business and navigate complex negotiations and organizations
  • Identify use cases and business value for organizations
  • Position Inrupt’s solutions to new customers and partners
  • Convey the vision and implications of Solid to stakeholders
  • Coordinate activities with your go-to-market team
  • Develop relationships with existing and new partners
  • Collaborate with partner organizations in the market to deliver solutions
  • Become a subject matter expert on Solid & remain up-to-date on industry news

About You
  • You have a demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process
  • You have a proven track record of overachievement and closing seven figure deals
  • You have a strong industry network of C-level executives
  • You have the ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group discussions and presentations
  • You are a team player and are comfortable working with a distributed team
  • You have innate leadership traits to help guide a team to success
  • You are a strong partnership builder, able to understand needs and build trust
  • You have the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • You have first class problem solving skills and apply them in a nimble fashion
  • You are familiar with on-premise & cloud native solutions, data management technologies and application development / systems integration projects
